What's next for Theatre on the Ridge?
Stay tuned as we continue to improvise, adapt and overcome. It's been quite the journey through 2020 and 2021, and we're getting ready to take on 2022. We've got a new strategic plan on the way, thanks to your input and we will continue to enrich lives through LIVE theatre, on and offstage in any way we can for as long as we can.

Theatre on the Ridge continues to take deliberate action to eliminate systemic racism and discrimination within our theatre community.
In 2020, we updated and created new Code of Conduct, Harrassment and No Discrimination policies.
The actions in support of these policies will be at the heart of our new strategic plan.

Theatre on the Ridge (formerly Theatre 3x60)
Now in its 7th year, Theatre On The Ridge continues to be Durham’s entertaining and innovative professional theatre company that captivates on and offstage. Since 2014, the company has consistently committed to artistic excellence, accessibility, education and audience engagement while nurturing new artists and theatre works.

Through its summer theatre festival, held annually in Port Perry, Theatre On The Ridge presents professional theatre and musical productions of new, Canadian and international works that entertain and engage audiences, pairing a quality big city theatre experience with the welcome and appeal of small town rural hospitality.

We Acknowledge
As a gesture of respect and a nod to a lesser known part of our local and regional history we wish to acknowledge the lands upon which we live, work and play.  These lands in the Port Perry/Lake Scugog area are Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation traditional and treaty lands, located on the eastern extremity of the historic Western Hunting Grounds, and today constitute Treaty #20 and Williams Treaties Clause #2 lands, the former signed in 1818 and the latter in 1923.  As one of the original peoples, let us be reminded of the lands and water upon which the Mississaugas have lived, utilized and cared for, generation upon generation.
