![]() Spring 2021 and a second Something From Nothing Summer Theatres may still be closed but we will continue to make theatre happen, including taking our summer season outdoors for the second year, and are now accepting applications for the following positions: Actor/Instructor - up to 6 positions available 9 weeks, full time – June to August, 2021 Stage Manager - 2 positions available 9 weeks, full time – June to August, 2021 Production Manager - 1 position available 23 weeks, part time – May to October, 2021 Media & Communications Coordinator -1 position available 23 weeks, part time – May to October, 2021 Production Assistant - 1 position available 23 weeks, part time - May to October, 2021 Curatorial Assistant - 1 position available 9 weeks, full time – June to August, 2021 In spite of the onset of the third wave of Covid, the new VOC’s and the most recent stay at home order, we are still committed to keeping theatre live as long as we can and as safely as we can. We’ve got a second summer planned based on our successful ad hoc season last year. Something From Nothing season #2 will include an artist and playwright workshop residency and a modified repertory performance slate (readings/productions/virtual) of collectively curated work. With the support of the Ontario Arts Council, we will also be revisiting our Pine Grove Plots theatrical walks, adapting this popular program to both Covid safe live performances and a virtual experience. In addition to employment positions, we are also offering a limited number of performance apprenticeships, and student co-op and unpaid intern placements in several production, front of house and media areas.
