Cancelled: Festival 2020 Acting Apprenticeship Opportunities
Perform onstage with our professional company in one or both productions of Cyrano de Bergerac and Innocence Lost and receive your Pre Professional performance Mentorship Program free of charge. The Apprenticeship Program provides a unique opportunity to experience professional theatre from the inside as a member of the Theatre on the Ridge summer company. Admission to the program is by audition only and participants must be available for all rehearsals and performances through July and August as required. Our annual summer theatre festival continues to become one of the most exciting cultural summer events in Scugog and we are actively seeking volunteers and summer production personnel to be part of our Festival 2020 team. Festival 2020 as originally planned has been cancelled due to Covid 19. We hope that we will be able to offer these rewarding volunteer opportunities in 2021. Please keep us in mind! Getting involved with Festival 2020 is a perfect way to expand your theatre knowledge, build your creative, production and management skills, and meet other like minded theatre lovers and community supporters. High school students can also earn valuable community service hours! With all the great Theatre 3×60/Theatre on the Ridge events happening, we could use a little help and are inviting you to get involved. We value the contribution our volunteers make and, in return, volunteering with us is a great way to encourage your interest in theatre, learn new skills, meet new friends and show your support for Theatre on the Ridge.
